WHO WE ARE

SC Capital is a real estate investment firm focused on acquiring under-utilized multifamily (apartment buildings), industrial, office, and retail properties in Hawaii. Having completed over $50 million in acquisitions and dispositions in the last few years, we are one of the state's most active private real estate investors.

Based in Downtown Honolulu, we specialize in repositioning "value-add" investments across a wide-spectrum of property types. We love challenging assets which require creative solutions, resulting in a successful outcome for property sellers, brokers, and our partners.

SC Capital is deeply rooted in the Hawaii community. Our founder and CEO, Ian Clagstone, was raised in Windward Oahu and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii Shidler College of Business and Punahou School. Our COO, Matt Raff, was raised in Hawaii Kai and is a graduate of Colorado State University's Everitt Real Estate Center.

PROPERTY CONDITION

Value-add and core-plus investments. We will buy low in-place cap rates in underperforming properties. Examples include properties with deferred maintenance or low occupancy.
